About

Mott’s has created More to the Core as a key destination for all things related to family health & nutrition. Our goal is to foster an online community built around healthy and active lifestyles, where we can engage with consumers and moms in the sharing of both valuable and entertaining content.

More to the Core will continually feature fun and informative posts from our team of accomplished team of bloggers. Check out them out below!

  • Editor Sarah Caron a journalist, writer, editor, mother and wife from Connecticut, focusing on recipes that the whole family will eat, and the stories that go along with them. As a cook, she strives to make meals that the whole family can eat together. She is the mother of two young children – Will, age almost 4, and Paige, age 1.  Her work has appeared in many outlets including on Glamour.com, AOL.com and in the New Haven Register. In addition to Sarah’s Cucina Bella, she is managing editor of editorial for the Well Fed Network and writes about parenting for SheKnows.

  • Catherine Connors is a mother, writer and recovering academic who traded the lecture hall for the playroom and discovered that university students and preschoolers have much the same attention span. She’s the author of the blogs Her Bad Mother and Their Bad Mother, the moderator of Her Bad Mother’s Basement, the co-founder and co-editor of WeCovet, a contributing writer/editor at MamaPop and at BlogHer, and (deep breath) co-founder of and contributor to  Canada Moms Blog. And in her spare time… oh, wait. She doesn’t have spare time. But she’s okay with that.
  • Meagan Francis is a writer and mother of five kids: boys ages 11, 9, 5 and 3, and a little girl born in March. She’s the author of two books, including Table for Eight: raising a large family in a small-family world, (Alpha/Penguin, 2007) a practical hands-on guide to raising “larger than average” families; and contributes regularly to magazines and websites like Parenting, Parents, Fit Pregnancy, American Baby, AlphaMom.com, and Disney’s Family.com. She also blogs about how to be a happier mother at The Happiest Mom, life with a larger family at LargerFamilies.com, and writing and family at MeaganFrancis.com.
  • Dawn Papandrea is a journalist, editor, and blogger whose lap is always occupied by either one of her two boys, or her laptop. Whether she’s getting her big boy J.J. ready for kindergarten, teaching her baby Dante to play peek-a-boo, or researching articles for one of the many media outlets she writes for, she learns something new about being a mom everyday.  She currently blogs for ParentSociety and has written for many of the major parenting publications, including Parenting, Fit Pregnancy, Pregnancy, and American Baby. In her day job, she’s the managing editor of The CollegeBound Network, where she focuses on her other writing specialty, education. Here, she’ll fuse her passion for parenting and education by blogging about kids and school.
